A catch-all email mailbox receives messages sent to invalid email addresses under the very same domain name. For example, a message sent to the mistyped suport@domain.com will be delivered to support@domain.com if the catch-all feature has been activated for the latter. Thus, you can receive emails from partners or customers who may have sent a message to your email address with a typo or to an out-of-date one, which they may still have, but you have already deleted. Just one single mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be activated for such a mailbox. The latter is due to the fact that at some point you may begin receiving spam email messages in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding limitation means that the spam will not be received in a 3rd-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Cloud Hosting

Creating a catch-all email mailbox will be unbelievably easy if you have a cloud hosting plan with us. You can enable this option through our advanced, albeit simple-to-work-with Email Manager, which is integrated into the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, via which you will manage the hosting account itself. You will see all the mailboxes that you have created shown in alphabetical order and to the right of each one there will be a tiny "Catch-all" icon, which will immediately let you know whether a particular mailbox stores all the messages associated with a given domain or not. With a single mouse click on the icon you can activate or deactivate this option at any moment. In case there is active email forwarding or in case another mailbox has already been configured as a catch-all one for a given domain, you will receive a warning notice from our system. The latter will not replace/deactivate anything automatically and without your permission.
